GENERAL GYNECOLOGY

  • Yearly gynecologic exams with emphasis on preventative health care
  • Abnormal pap smears including Colposcopy and LEEP
  • Breast problems including aspiration of large and/or painful cysts
  • Pelvic pain
  • Menstrual problems
  • Perimenopause and Menopausal issues including HRT and bio-identical hormones
  • Contraception including IUD’s and both types of sterilization procedures
  • On site ultrasound

SURGICAL SERVICES

  • Advanced laparoscopic procedures (MIS) to remove uterus, tubes, and/or ovaries; treatment of endometriosis or adhesions
  • Hysterectomies including abdominal, vaginal and less invasive laparoscopic approaches (MIS including LSH and LAVH)
  • Hysteroscopy procedures to treat bleeding, remove fibroids, polyps or a septum
  • Endometrial Ablation both in-office and at the hospital
  • Sterilization – procedures done in-office ( ESSURE or ADIANA ) or the traditional laparoscopic approach done at the hospital
INCONTINENCE AND PROLAPSE (treatment of bladder and pelvic floor disorders)
  • Bladder testing (urodynamics) to diagnose and identify treatment options
  • Insertion of pessaries
  • Medical and/or Surgical correction of incontinence
  • Surgical repair of prolapse, cystocoele (fallen bladder) rectocoele (fallen rectum, including insertion of mesh if needed
INFERTILITY
  • Ovulation induction
  • Intrauterine insemination
  • Treatment of endometriosis
  • Hysteroscopic treatment of uterine abnormalities
  • Reversal of tubal ligation
  • IVF services (in coordination with IVF Michigan, Rochester Hills, or The Fertility Center, Grand Rapids). Monitoring of follicles and lab work can be done in Petoskey. Retrieval and transfer is completed downstate.
